CSF: The Lifeblood of the Central Nervous System – Mastering Cranial Techniques to Optimize Neurological Function

Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) is essential for protecting, nourishing, and regulating the central nervous system. When its flow is compromised, neurological balance, immune function, and overall systemic health can suffer—especially in infants, children, and individuals with chronic health challenges.

In this advanced online course, you’ll gain a clear understanding of how CSF is produced, circulated, and affected by cranial and spinal imbalances. You’ll also learn specific evaluation and cranial adjusting protocols that restore healthy CSF flow and enhance the function of the entire nervous system.

This is a must-have class for chiropractors who want to deepen their cranial adjusting skills and elevate their impact on neurological health.

What You’ll Learn

  • The physiology, production, and circulation of cerebrospinal fluid
  • How cranial and dural restrictions affect CSF flow and neurological integrity
  • Key indicators of CSF imbalance in pediatric and adult patients
  • Step-by-step cranial techniques to support optimal CSF movement
  • How restoring CSF dynamics enhances immune function, detoxification, and neurological regulation

Resources Provided

  • Video class modules
  • Evaluation & technique presentations
  • Practical demonstrations
  • Calls to action (CTAs)
  • Complete PDF workbooks
  • Full transcriptions of video classes
  • Email access to Dr. Rosen & Dr. Watson

Why Take This Course?

  • CSF is essential for brain and spinal cord function—its flow must be addressed in any true neurologically-based care model
  • Cranial distortions and dural torque can significantly impede CSF dynamics, leading to long-standing health issues
  • Gentle, specific corrections can dramatically improve outcomes in patients with sensory, developmental, immune, and chronic neurological concerns

Who Is This Course For?

Chiropractors who want to:

  • Advance their cranial adjusting proficiency
  • Expand their impact in pediatric, family, and wellness care
  • Address deeper neurological patterns that influence long-term health and healing
  • Offer a vital piece of care often overlooked in traditional chiropractic protocols

If you’re ready to refine your skills, expand your clinical effectiveness, and bring a new dimension to your chiropractic care—this course is for you.

There is a lot more to CSF than what we learn in school. It was interesting to know how much CSF can affect the whole body from ligaments to musculature systems. Another thing I learned was that there were a variety of techniques to help balance the CSF system. In school we only talked about CSF Directing and Cranial rhythmic impulse. It was nice to see that there are others

I have been utilizing some of the techniques in the school clinic and started to see some really good changes in my patients’ care.

I had a patient with advanced Parkinson’s disease. They were having balancing issues and severe tremors. The patient only wanted cranials done. I blocked them based on their category and did the basic cranial. I did some of the suture work and started to notice the tremors reducing. Afterwards, I balanced the CSF doing the occipital pump and spread. It was interesting to see him taking more deep breaths and the system was calming down. Now I did not know temporal bone balancing was a technique. I did something similar to it but made sure that CSF was balanced and flowing properly. His system definitely calmed down and felt relaxed after his treatment. I was amazed to see such a good improvement in a small amount of time and knew that we were moving in a good direction as far as care.

I would recommend this class. We only get so much from the SOT electives at our school, and it is interesting to see how many people do not focus on CSF balancing. CSF is crucial in how we live, breathe, and move. It is an important part of our lives. Seeing how we as chiropractors can help make changes in our adjustments by making sure we address the CSF system. It is all connected and I hate that school teaches us to chase after pain instead of getting to the root cause. Distortion of the CSF can cause a lot of health issues and other factors that our patients can be going through, and it is important that we recognize those issues and find ways to help correct them.

I loved learning. I liked how it was split up into smaller videos so it’s not so much at one time. I am still learning and glad I had the time to learn more about SOT and CSF flow. I am looking forward to learning more, especially cranial and face distortions. I will be on the lookout for when those courses come out.

Dr. Martin’s expertise shines through his substantive communication style. Every word he utters is packed with valuable content, devoid of any unnecessary fluff or filler. This experience equipped me with practical tools that have expanded my ability to assist others in ways I hadn’t previously been able to. I got out of it what I wanted to. Which was learning more about CSF flow and how to help improve that flow.

This experience provided me with invaluable practical tools that have significantly broadened my capacity to aid others in ways I hadn’t accessed before. Personally, I achieved my goal of deepening my understanding of CSF flow and learning effective methods to enhance it.

I’ve been applying these techniques with my partner, and she consistently shares feeling more relaxed after each session. That’s a significant achievement for me.

It’s always rewarding to acquire new knowledge, especially when it directly applies to my own life. The practical relevance makes the learning experience even more fulfilling.

This course really helped to clarify the flow of CSF techniques and when to use them. I loved the notes and the transcripts for future reference and loved seeing the individual demonstrations.

The hands on demos gave me great ‘take-aways’ to use on patients right away. I love the flexibility of getting to watch and re-watch the classes at my convenience.

I used the ventricular bulb technique on a young boy with ODD and was able to calm him to continue with the rest of his treatment. Such a great tool!

Love these programs and the doctor shares with the extra tidbits
