My three takeaways:
1. Know the anatomy and physiology of the cranium and always go back studying it for being precise at everyday work.
2. When working with children with tongue tie it is absolutely important to evaluate all the cranial bones and movement of the sutures.
3. Tongue-tie is not only about the tongue. It is about the proper function of the tongue, face, mouth and skull.

While working with a lot of babies and kids with tongue-tie and plagiocephaly you tend to find strategies that work and you repeat the successful ones and therefore your focus changes and maybe gets a bit narrow. Before the course I was working a lot with fluids, biodynamic osteopathy, embryologic movements and development with very light contacts. During the weeks of the course I opened my view, started to do proper evaluation of the bones and regained a more specific “view of the function/s of the skull” and the “whole system” again.

Even before the course I always checked the shape of the palate and also the movement and position of the SSB. But during the last weeks I started to really evaluate the palate precisely, check for dysfunction and integrated the correction techniques in my daily routine.

Yes, I would definitely recommend the course because it is so important to know the anatomy and know the function/dysfunction and every treatment should start with a precise evaluation. But what I was missing – naturally as it was an Online Program – was working with you and getting help with the corrections as to the amount of pressure I have to use, the proper contact points, etc. I would love to do a program on site as I think that is the only way of learning from experienced teachers.

It was a very good program, and I also loved the script, videos, and didactic structure as well as the Call To Action because I always had to repeat and rewatch videos which helped me learn. And whenever I struggle in my daily work, I can have a look at the transcript and pictures to repeat. Thank you!
