    My three takeaways:
    1) The program was a wake-up call to me regarding. Having been a chiropractor for 30 years only focusing on the spine and ignoring a critical aspect of human dynamics. 2) Prior to this course, I thought I was an above average chiropractor, but this course taught me how little I know about human function. 3) I believe courses like cranial function mechanics should be taught in chiropractic colleges.

This course made me realize how little I understand about biomechanics and human function and the impact of cranial structures with their descending patterns can impact the entire spine and if not addressed, the same patterns repeat themselves and the patients never get better despite what I do as a chiropractor. Personally, knowing this information now makes me feel I have been providing many patients a disservice and motivates me to learn and understand cranial dynamics. So, it was a very enlightened course for me

I have begun using some of these cranial mobilization procedures on post CFR inflation techniques and even though I have not yet been confident and proficient with the procedures, I have found most patients find them very relaxing and ease their anxiety form the CFR procedure

I might not recommend this course to someone who does not have any prior knowledge with cranial work and have them start at the basics. I feel that this was more of an advanced course for me which is why I began to go back to basics and enrolled in the SOT course with you. The certification in CFR, although a profound and effective technique, has only taught me how much I really do not know.

I would like to have some hands-on techniques to practice the mobilization techniques because, although practicing with skull models, I was still unsure I was palpating the correct structures. So, some hands-on training would have been a great compliment. Also, this was the first time I have taken a course like this which delivered course material in a slow drip fashion, so it took a while to get used to the format. I would like to say thank you Dr. Rosen for your phenomenal work and making it available and how you have enlightened me to become a better provider!!

    My three takeaways:
    1. This is the best way, in my opinion, to follow up the pediatric program with Dr. Rosen. It’s a much deeper and more focused approach to cranial work.
    2. I can’t look at pictures of people without starting to figure out what cranial bones need work.
    3. This takes A LOT of focus, frequent reviewing and regular practice, but when things start to click…it’s such a great feeling.

I’ve started taking on patients with more confidence in the office. Cases that I would have never considered, I’m now saying “let’s give it a shot!” I’m the only one in my neck of the woods doing anything cranial related. Therefore, this class has given me the shove into craniofacial work that I needed. Personally, this has been a fun learning process and has challenged me in ways I didn’t expect. But with these challenges came growth.

A 12yo girl came to me with a jaw that locks periodically but this time hasn’t unlocked on its own. She hasn’t been able to eat chips and salsa (her fav) for months due to her jaw problem. She’s a dancer/athlete and I was able to determine it was an ascending pattern and started at the pelvis. She is about 6 weeks into care and just tried chips and salsa without issue this week!

Yes, I would definitely recommend this course to others. With it being completely online, I never felt like I was abandoned or without a lifeline for help with challenging cases, or even just normal cases. I’ve asked questions that I should have known the answer to. Never once have I felt that I was ignored. Not only do I get answers from other seasoned docs, but Dr. Rosen is so quick to respond as well.

Thanks for helping me and my patients out here in SW Kansas. I’ve been given the confidence to at least try. And that’s a better choice for those that aren’t able to travel 2.5 hours to the closest cranial doc. I can’t wait to see what walks in my clinic next!

This is much more than a simple TMJ course. It teaches a deeper understanding of how TMJ relates to the rest of the body. It also teaches a lot of applications of cranial work into a clinical setting. It also talks about how to better communicate with dentists when they are needed.

It has added to my toolbox for managing these patients. There was the sphenomax instance where I learned a different way of doing the procedure. It worked as well as the two finger move.

I would recommend it. It’s more than a typical TMJ course.

Very enjoyable experience. Glad I took it.

  • Dr. Jennifer Habchi

My takeaway: This program is comprehensive, thorough and life changing.

I am a better physician for it, I know what to look for, I am inspired again. I had an adult TMJ patient, locked jaw, solved in 6 sessions.

Yes, I would recommend this program. We say we treat the body as a whole, but a lot of times chiropractors do not address the TMJ. Therefore, in certain instances we are solving the symptoms and not the cause. If we want to say that we solve the root cause of problems and not just the symptoms then we all should learn more about cranial and TMJ.

Thank you so much for the last videos ! I must admit I was wondering if you were going to have demonstration videos. For a visual learner like me those were priceless.

I appreciated the more global approach to the TMJ dysfunctions,

I wanted to do this program so that I had an edge on TMJ dysfunctions compared to other practitioners in the area. Also, I felt limited in my approach, as I sometimes did not get the results I wanted in treatment.

Yes, I definitely would recommend this course. The proportion of the population with TMJ disorders is so high that every chiropractor should have knowledge of its treatment.
