Meet the Instructors

Dr. Martin Rosen, DC, CSCP, CSPP & Dr. Nancy Watson, DC, CSP

As early as first quarter in chiropractic school they were attracted to each other’s commitment to chiropractic and the pursuit of excellence.  Their combined 80 years of personal and clinical and teaching experience, in delivering the chiropractic adjustment is unparalleled in the chiropractic profession.  Their international outreach through teaching, writing and lecturing has been a driving force in their personal and professional careers since their first seminar taught together as students, in 1979.

Their years of experience have taught them what works and what does not work to create a successful practice and lifestyle. The more competent and comprehensive your expertise you will find that more patients will seek your services and your practice will grow exponentially.

Feedback From Our Students

  • Courtney Neill, DC, CACCP

“My takeaways from the Train the Trainer program are: It’s important to consider that not everyone learns the same way and that you need to make your presentation for a variety of learning styles. It’s also important to have an outline of what you wish to speak about no matter if it’s a short or longer presentation, and make sure you circle back to your key points.

This course has been really self-reflective about my own learning styles and how I interact with people I am trying to teach to.

I really felt this program was well organized and had a lot of great examples of teaching styles. It was fun to even watch you and Marty learn from the guest speaker you had, even after teaching for so many years…there is always more to learn!”

  • Lindsey Pfeiffer, DC

“This program will help your personal and business development. You will gain confidence in public speaking and creating presentations that will keep your audience engaged. After learning the different learning and presentation styles you will be able to build a catalog of different presentations that you can deliver to your community at any time.

This program has helped me gain confidence in speaking with authority. In order to teach, you must master that information. It has shown me areas in my personal and professional life that had some gaps and I was able to dive deeper into them.

I’m thankful that I was chosen to be a part of the first Train the Trainer program. I’m grateful that Drs. Rosen and Watson have supported me and saw something in me that I didn’t see in myself. This program as well at the Peak Potential Institute has helped me grow both personally and professionally. Thank you.”

  • Cecelia Mikles, DC

Three takeaways from this program that I would share with others:
    1. The value of learning how to teach, not just what to teach, understanding the process of creating, structuring, and delivering content.
    2. The importance of being pushed outside of your comfort zone in order to grow, even when it feels uncomfortable or discouraging at times.
    3. The realization that teaching isn’t just about knowledge, but about clarity, presence, and the ability to engage others.

At this time, I feel most aligned with assisting teachers, supporting students, and possibly stepping into recruitment or outreach with chiropractic colleges. In the future, I can see myself stepping into an assistant instructor role when the timing and my confidence align.

The program was excellent at teaching us how to teach and giving us tools to create presentations. For me personally, it didn’t build confidence as much as it revealed where I need more practice. In some ways, my confidence took a dip, but the knowledge I gained was invaluable. I also found the five-minute presentation format difficult, it felt challenging to develop meaningful content in such a short window. After talking with a classmate from previous courses she found ease with making a larger presentation and then took slides from it to make the smaller presentation. Perhaps a progression model building toward a 30 to 40-minute presentation with smaller steps along the way could help future participants.
