Feedback From Our Students

  • Katherine Roose, DC

    1. There are many different learning styles and having the skill to adapt to is an important part of teaching.
    2. Creating a presentation road map helps to create a congruent presentation.
    3. Creating real world application of a technique is a great way to encourage engagement with the audience.

I really enjoyed being a table assistant and helping with the actual practice of techniques. I feel I have more to learn (both in my understanding of the material and public speaking skills) before I would be ready to instruct in front of a classroom full of people. That being said, I enjoyed this course and really appreciated the challenge that it presented
and am looking forward to continuing to improve in these areas.

The program was good and a really good way to get out of my comfort zone. I think I would’ve liked the program to go a little deeper on presentation skills, but overall, I am really glad I participated and feel I gained a lot from the program.

“My three takeaways from this program:

Structure of presentations, importance of storytelling, and the value of having an audience to run your presentations by prior to going live with them.

This program has increased my ability to focus my message on any given subject without feeling the need to dump every bit of what’s in my brain on them.

Thank you for this course and for the opportunities you have given me! I am eternally grateful!!”

  • Jacobe Holman, DC, CSSPP

“Learning the different ways that people acquire knowledge was awesome! Using a roadmap or structured format to create content and presentations is priceless. It allows you to focus on being creative with the content and organizing it in a way that makes it easier for the student to learn.

I’ve had the ability in the last 3 years to be on stage or in front of hundreds if not thousands of chiropractors and students. This terrified me, it felt like I was just shooting from the hip, all the time. Having this course under my belt has helped me to organize the content that I’m delivering which makes the presentations easier to build and easier to deliver.

If you plan on being in front of people and delivering information, whether it is a seminar setting, patient education classes, table talk, patient reports – ALL of these avenues of communication will get stronger with this class.

It was an awesome class and opportunity to learn from two amazing chiropractors!”
