It’s a thorough, comprehensive program that requires watching the videos a number of times, studying the notes and applying the work daily with patients.

I find myself evaluating patients from a much broader and comprehensive perspective. That has been rewarding intellectually for me, and patients benefit with a more satisfying outcome.

I would recommend the course, but you must put the time in and apply the procedures in the office.

“I took this program for a greater understanding of SOT categories and their management.

    My three takeaways are:
    1. SOT is not confusing, just detailed.
    2. The 3 categories are the foundation.
    3. SOT is not difficult to apply.

This program has given me another practical tool to use in patient care.

I had a new patient with a hot discogenic pain. Category 3. Pain went from 8 to a 3 during first treatment. 6 sessions to a 0/10 pain.”

I have done the SOT seminars here in Australia twice and found them great to understand the basics. What this program has done has given me a much deeper understanding of the underlying mechanisms and how to link it all from my diagnostics all the way through to scheduling and patient education. I have already seen breakthroughs with patients who had previously stagnated which is amazing.

It has helped me better understand my body and the way it has compensated since a young age which has made a lot of things click. It has also helped me in practice significantly with how I now analyse and treat my patients

I have a friend who 12 months ago had an unstable grade 2 L5 spondy surgically stabilised and then a disc replacement of L4. He had been getting consistent hip/ pelvis issues holding his recovery back and we had been blocking him as a Category II but it kept coming back. Since doing this course I have now been able to stabilise the Category II and transition him to a Category I and he is seeing significant improvement with his pelvic stability allowing him to step up his rehab in a big way.

This course is great and really helps to put all the pieces together to properly integrate SOT into a clinical setting

Thank you for putting this course together, it has been an amazing program, and I will continue to recommend it to other colleagues.

“I wanted to learn more about the techniques I learned in the Pediatric Program. Prior to my courses with Peak Potential I had not utilized SOT in my office. I had not taken any classes in it since chiropractic school.

SOT category adjusting has been a wonderful addition to my practice. The doctor sharings brought up questions that lead to a deeper understanding of the techniques and material presented. I plan to continue to ask more questions as I incorporate using the Categories in my practice and love having the ability to reach out about those questions.

Learning about the Categories has helped me take a different approach to some of the cases that have entered my office and some of my patients that have often presented with similar patterns. I love having the indicators to follow to witness the more subtle shifts and changes as the patient progresses through their care plan. Also it keeps me from chasing everything that is hurting them at this time and focus on stabilizing with my category 2 patients.

My husband sent a chronic low back pain patient to me he had hit a plateau with. This patient had a similar experience with other chiropractors in the past. Through the analysis I learned in this class I was able to find he was primarily a Category 2. I blocked him and he has been continuing to progress well with his care.

    It was a fantastic program!”

SOT provides a deeper look into the functioning of the nervous system and the role of the dural meningeal system in nervous system functioning, chronic patterns, and clues that the source of dysfunction may not be local to the area of pain but may be a compensation above or below. SOT provides an extra key to unlocking the nervous system with the cranial distortion evaluation and how it plays a part in the dural meningeal system, CSF flow and more. The SOT evaluation helps to give better understanding of the capacity to which a person’s nervous system is functioning beyond the everyday ortho and neurological exams taught in school. It is more of a qualitative nervous system analysis rather than a specific diagnostic problem because the nervous system functions as a whole.

I have been able to provide a unique/different technique in my area that is starting to give some results with patients so hopefully will attract more in the future.

This technique has been able to keep me from over adjusting my patients and learning to trust the indicators rather than what I may be feeling without the use of the indicators. For one patient the indicators encouraged me to adjust the cervicals differently which has helped. For another patient having lots of neck pain and not making progress with another provider I was able to determine it was an ascending pattern and the problem was more in his pelvis and sacrum and releasing the AI sacrum was providing the most relief.

Yes, I would recommend this course. I think it helps to have more tools in the toolbox for when you become “stuck” with patient progress and learning to read the body’s indicators helps to provide direction to help them. Also, the role the dural meningeal system plays in nervous system health is not taught in schools so I think it could provide better and more lasting results if the system is unwound.
