Really fantastic course, once again so easy to follow and really allows not only learning at your own pace, but also to be able to study from countries outside of the US. Great to have the transcripts to follow, I found this really helped how I like to absorb information and really clarified a few points for me. The Call to Action activities are a great way of cementing the information, and again a new way of learning for me, other courses outside of Peak Potential haven’t had these types of activities before.

Personally, this course has really helped me to see the body and its compensations in a new way, has made me really think about how healing occurs or how compensations can impact health, which as a Chiropractor may sound obvious, however this course helped me to see beyond Chiropractic. Professionally this course has increased my confidence in practice and has really helped me to see more longevity in my profession.

Having seen a lot of older patients in my practice, this course has helped me to see where the category 3 really shows all the compensation mechanisms that have been present in those patients, and why I wasn’t seeing results until now. It has also helped me to talk to parents more easily about the compensations which occur at a young age and how Chiropractic can really address those and what it means longer term for their children.

I would recommend this course to other practitioners, once again the learning here has really changed the way I look at my treatment and how I can help more patients. The confidence I have gained really makes me see a future in my profession well beyond what I thought I would be capable of doing.

Dr. Rosen and Dr. Watson clearly have an unwavering passion and commitment to healthcare, Chiropractic and the betterment of others, this comes through with each interaction and all communication. I really want to thank Dr. Rosen and Dr. Watson for all they have helped me with personally and professionally through their programmes and because of their dedication to Chiropractic.

“I am looking for new ways to help patients with chronic issues that keep recurring and want to incorporate blocking as a more gentle technique approach.

    My three takeaways are:
    1. Identify ascending/descending patterns in order to address the prominent issue first.
    2. Check for and remove atlas/axis dural restrictions.
    3. Awareness of positive muscle control and the idea that not every ‘fixed’ joint should be adjusted as some are compensations for a hypermobility problem.

Professionally I feel I can help my patients further and explain better why they have the issues they have and how the healing process will be. I have noticed an impact of removing atlas dural restrictions in several patients. It’s been very interesting to observe the changes patients report. The CCC also is a good educational tool as patients notice that raising the legs becomes easier or more difficult with cervical compression.

It’s the best seminar I’ve ever taken! So much information that I’m a bit overwhelmed but I learned so much that I’ve been able to immediately start using it in practice. Dr. Rosen was amazing in his explanations and I now understand SOT so much better!”

SOT provides a deeper look into the functioning of the nervous system and the role of the dural meningeal system in nervous system functioning, chronic patterns, and clues that the source of dysfunction may not be local to the area of pain but may be a compensation above or below. SOT provides an extra key to unlocking the nervous system with the cranial distortion evaluation and how it plays a part in the dural meningeal system, CSF flow and more. The SOT evaluation helps to give better understanding of the capacity to which a person’s nervous system is functioning beyond the everyday ortho and neurological exams taught in school. It is more of a qualitative nervous system analysis rather than a specific diagnostic problem because the nervous system functions as a whole.

I have been able to provide a unique/different technique in my area that is starting to give some results with patients so hopefully will attract more in the future.

This technique has been able to keep me from over adjusting my patients and learning to trust the indicators rather than what I may be feeling without the use of the indicators. For one patient the indicators encouraged me to adjust the cervicals differently which has helped. For another patient having lots of neck pain and not making progress with another provider I was able to determine it was an ascending pattern and the problem was more in his pelvis and sacrum and releasing the AI sacrum was providing the most relief.

Yes, I would recommend this course. I think it helps to have more tools in the toolbox for when you become “stuck” with patient progress and learning to read the body’s indicators helps to provide direction to help them. Also, the role the dural meningeal system plays in nervous system health is not taught in schools so I think it could provide better and more lasting results if the system is unwound.

The concept is that the cervical and lumbar spine are interconnected, so rather than treating only the affected area, it is essential to also address other spinal regions that could be the root cause of the issue.

I now perform more detailed examinations when seeing patients, making it easier to explain their condition to them. Additionally, I’ve become more mindful of taking care of my own body as well.

After providing more detailed adjustments to the temporomandibular joint and upper cervical spine for a headache patient, they were satisfied, saying their vision improved and their headaches got better.

As a neurologist practicing chiropractic in Korea, I found the SOT classes to be incredibly valuable.

“I took this program for a greater understanding of SOT categories and their management.

    My three takeaways are:
    1. SOT is not confusing, just detailed.
    2. The 3 categories are the foundation.
    3. SOT is not difficult to apply.

This program has given me another practical tool to use in patient care.

I had a new patient with a hot discogenic pain. Category 3. Pain went from 8 to a 3 during first treatment. 6 sessions to a 0/10 pain.”
