    1. Great material well-presented 2. Immediately applicable 3. Call to Action exercises really help integrate learning.

This is an excellent course for beginning chiropractors and veterans alike. I have been practicing for 25 years. While I had learned SOT in college, I wanted to brush up on principles. This class was so much more. I feel like I learned a technique with efficient protocol immediately applicable to my practice. The instruction was excellent and the doctor shares and call to action exercises extremely helpful.

I have spent the bulk of my career primarily using the Gonstead technique. But after working closely with an SOT doctor, I saw how it expanded my ability to treat more people, especially those who might not be able to handle high-velocity adjustments. I began a two-year study which ultimately led to this course. I am so grateful to have met Drs. Rosen and Watson. Their course helped solidify my understanding of this protocol.

I would highly recommend this course to both beginning and veteran chiropractors. If you have an interest in expanding your ability to help people chiropractically, you will gain much by taking this course. It is well-ordered, exceptionally presented, and comprehensive. The call to actions really helps to integrate the material, and the doctor shares insight and an excellent way to have questions answered. Dr. Rosen and Dr. Watson has done an outstanding job at presenting this valuable chiropractic technique.

Thank you for a wonderful class. I am so grateful I found you. I was looking for SOT instruction and believe it or not, I could find no other seminars. Now, clearly in hindsight, I was fortunate to find your courses, but I was surprised that nothing was offered through the colleges. Anyway, I am grateful that you are keeping this valuable knowledge alive and well. Bless you for your work.

“I took this program for a greater understanding of SOT categories and their management.

    My three takeaways are:
    1. SOT is not confusing, just detailed.
    2. The 3 categories are the foundation.
    3. SOT is not difficult to apply.

This program has given me another practical tool to use in patient care.

I had a new patient with a hot discogenic pain. Category 3. Pain went from 8 to a 3 during first treatment. 6 sessions to a 0/10 pain.”

    My three takeaways:
    1. Easy flexible online learning.
    2. Understanding of 3 Categories, where to block and adjust.
    3. Understanding exams needed to correctly “diagnose” (bad word but couldn’t think of another way) a category.

I will definitely implement the SOT blocking and canal work into my office.

If someone is looking to understand SOT, absolutely would recommend this course. Great intro to the technique.

SOT provides a deeper look into the functioning of the nervous system and the role of the dural meningeal system in nervous system functioning, chronic patterns, and clues that the source of dysfunction may not be local to the area of pain but may be a compensation above or below. SOT provides an extra key to unlocking the nervous system with the cranial distortion evaluation and how it plays a part in the dural meningeal system, CSF flow and more. The SOT evaluation helps to give better understanding of the capacity to which a person’s nervous system is functioning beyond the everyday ortho and neurological exams taught in school. It is more of a qualitative nervous system analysis rather than a specific diagnostic problem because the nervous system functions as a whole.

I have been able to provide a unique/different technique in my area that is starting to give some results with patients so hopefully will attract more in the future.

This technique has been able to keep me from over adjusting my patients and learning to trust the indicators rather than what I may be feeling without the use of the indicators. For one patient the indicators encouraged me to adjust the cervicals differently which has helped. For another patient having lots of neck pain and not making progress with another provider I was able to determine it was an ascending pattern and the problem was more in his pelvis and sacrum and releasing the AI sacrum was providing the most relief.

Yes, I would recommend this course. I think it helps to have more tools in the toolbox for when you become “stuck” with patient progress and learning to read the body’s indicators helps to provide direction to help them. Also, the role the dural meningeal system plays in nervous system health is not taught in schools so I think it could provide better and more lasting results if the system is unwound.

I learned about the foundation of the Sacro-Occipital Technique. I also learned the treatment protocol of those categories that really help me to treat patients.

It gave me a direction for treating patients, I understand the foundation of SOT made me want to learn more about SOT such as the TMJ and Cranial part.

I am in the student clinic right now. One of my patients had an injury of the SI joint for a while during an Aikido session. Came in with a complaint of SI joint. I used SOT Category II protocol to treat her. Her pain immediately disappeared in the first session of treatment, which is amazing.

Yes, it is a detailed course that talks about the history, physiology, anatomy and treatment method of SOT. I will definitely recommend this to my classmate that want to learn SOT.
