“I have always really enjoyed the area of pediatrics and since I started my studies I felt like there was a missing piece. In 2021 my son was born and had plagiocephaly and I asked Lilian Aliberti to take care of him. Seeing her assisting him encouraged me to seek more knowledge in craniopathy.

Even if you are a chiropractor, sometimes you need to understand the greatness that Chiropractic can provide for people. And serving children means experiencing this grandeur all the time. The ability to reduce medications, improve children’s quality of life, see them develop into their best version and create a healthier community is priceless.

The biggest result for me was at home, using the techniques on my children. It’s so good to be able to have relief in our hands to heal those we love! My daughter always had a lot of ear infections, she was always taking antibiotics and this year I managed to control it without medication. At the end of the course I received two 9-month-old twin sisters with severe plagiocephaly – it was almost like a final assessment of the course – I haven’t gotten an outcome yet but I’m working hard with everything I learned on the course. I can already say that since the evaluation we have already seen an improvement in tummy time and intestinal function. It’s amazing how well they respond when everything is working properly.

I would recommend this course for several reasons. Firstly because we Brazilians need to have contact with professionals with as much knowledge and experience as you, who are at the birthplace of Chiropractic – you are legends of our profession and I am proud to have the opportunity to learn from you, despite the distance, it was extremely important to absorb as much information as possible and make this information talk to each other (something we don’t always achieve in a live course). The transcripts and the material you send were one of the reasons why I felt confident investing in this course and I can guarantee that it made all the difference to my learning. I finish the course with a warm heart that I have absorbed a lot of knowledge and with the feeling that learning must continue.

This course was a turning point in my professional career. Dr. Rosen and Dr. Watson have the gift of teaching in a clear, objective and passionate way. I am very satisfied with the decision to attend the course and with the amount of information they provided. This is just my first course and it certainly won’t be my last!!:

I would like you to know that I delved deeper into this course like never before. It was as if everything I thought was aligned with how I feel, what I do, how I practice and how I live. Thank you so much for being part of my journey and I hope to have the opportunity to meet you in person very soon!”

Conditions we can help, what to look for each condition, importance of CSF

I am Way more comfortable with some conditions in pediatrics, but also with adults.

Numbness of trigeminal nerve. She was referred to a neurologist but no improvement. Her numbness was gone with a few appointments only.

Yes, I would recommend this program, it’s complete and has a lot of stuff to learn.

I developed a much stronger foundation in SOT analysis and technique. The programme equipped me with practical tools I can immediately use in practice. The mentorship and support throughout the course were invaluable in building my confidence.

It has expanded my clinical skill set considerably and given me more confidence in managing complex cases. I feel better equipped to assess and treat patients using a more integrative and structured approach. Personally: The program has deepened my passion for chiropractic and reminded me why I love what I do. It has also improved my ability to stay present, grounded, and patient-centred in my daily practice.

A specific instance where I applied the techniques from the course was in my paediatric practice. Using the visual cranial analysis we were taught, I was able to identify subtle cranial bone restrictions in an infant who was struggling with feeding and general irritability. Although I am still refining and practicing the correction techniques, I have already seen noticeable improvements. After applying gentle cranial work based on what I learned in the program, the baby showed a positive response, improved feeding, better settling, and overall calmer behaviour. This experience reinforced how valuable these assessment and correction tools are, and it has encouraged me to continue developing my skills in this area.

Yes, I would definitely recommend this course to others. It is incredibly in-depth and offers a level of clinical understanding that you simply can’t achieve through shorter seminars or weekend training. The content is rich, detailed, and highly practical for day-to-day practice. That said, I would recommend it to chiropractors who are truly committed. Because there is so much valuable information, it’s easy to fall behind if you don’t stay consistent. I often found myself going back over modules to make sure I fully understood the material and while that required discipline, it was absolutely worth it. Overall, the course provides exceptional value for anyone who wants to deepen their SOT knowledge and elevate their clinical skills.

“Taking this program has given me the knowledge to evaluate patients and give them the proper diagnosis to help move forward in their treatment plans. I am now able to assess plagiocephaly and have the skill set to help these patients in hopes to avoid the need for further modalities.

I absolutely love using the Occipital Lines as well as the trapezius fibers to help find where my patients need TLC. I openly talk to my patients about what I am feeling and doing and they love hearing about it! It has absolutely helped my table talk not only for pediatrics (to their parents) but for my adult patients as well. I am now assessing cranial bones on ALL of my patients. The adults love it for their sinus issues while my pediatrics are benefitting by their latches becoming stronger which means less gas and less colic.

I would recommend this course to others as a way to learn a new skill-set to better serve our patients. I loved that it was a yearlong course so each week I came to my patients with more information and more techniques to use.

I have nothing but great things to say about this course. The videos were descriptive; they come with a transcript as well as a workbook! You can ask questions on each video via the comment section, you can email the instructors, or you can ask your questions during the Doctor Share videos. There is no way you can fail this because they give you absolutely every tool you: need to succeed.

I appreciate you both so much! I appreciate your availability to help us. I appreciate your patience as I completed the course. I appreciated the positive feedback. I am so excited about your program that I am already starting to save up for future classes with you! I hope I am able to attend some seminars so I can meet you both in person! I cannot wait!”

The SOT Pediatric Certificate Program has provided me with what I see as the missing link in the foundational Chiropractic course work. 1. Assessment of the neonate and child that is Chiropractic specific. 2. Neurological integration in the Chiropractic practice that is more than a pain and mechanical centered approach yet remaining in the scope of manual therapy. 3. How to confidently be able to communicate with my patients and multidisciplinary colleagues in an evidence-based way, opening up improved communication and understanding of why we do what we do as Chiropractors. Our South African medical and general community is especially in need of improved understanding of the potential benefits of Chiropractic.

I have learnt that where there is confidence and knowledge, there are also improved outcomes. Where there is intention there are improved outcomes. This course has truly transformed my approach to Chiropractic care and brought light to many of my unanswered questions.

I have recently been referred an 18-month-old with an abnormal crawling pattern, overactive sympathetic NS, poor emotional regulation, abnormal head shape and delayed milestone of walking. He does not want to bend the knees to go into a squat position. Even though he is weight bearing, his mother actually sent me a photo of the inverted swing test prior to our initial consultation where he had quite a severe right lateral occipital flexion and thoracic flexion pattern. I could now explain to the mom what she was actually testing and could interpret the test with confidence, all the while considering that he is over 9 months of age. After assessing him, treating him 4 times in two weeks and referring him back to the Occupational Therapist, he was able to crawl on all fours. Although there is not perfect coordination yet, and a lot of work is still needed, I feel that I could provide the best possible care using the SOT pediatric paradigm. I have never had such a severe case, and yet such great results with delayed and non-functional milestones. The best is yet to come.

I would absolutely recommend this course to any Chiropractor who has a special interest in Paediatrics. If you want your clinical outcomes improved, a proper systematic approach to diagnosis and to widen your scope of Chiropractic care – this course is for you!

Just a huge thank you, for the pioneering work that Dr. Martin and Dr. Nancy have done in our profession and for creating such a seamless course for Chiropractors to glean from – worldwide.
