“I decided to take this course to gain a better understanding of cranial adjusting for children & to gain more confidence in helping families.

    My three takeaways:

It’s a lot of work! You will only gain knowledge if you put the modules into practice.
Although it’s not a symptom-based model, there are specific areas to check the infant/child for specific issues that may have brought them into chiropractic.
This is just the beginning of learning – this work requires a constant focus & desire to learn more to help children.

This course has given me more certainty to share with families.

I am also an IBCLC so I used this course a lot in helping breastfeeding moms who were having trouble latching their newborns. I utilized several of the cranial techniques to help babies relax more to breastfeed & become more efficient feeding.

YES, I would recommend this program. Even though I have been in practice for nearly 25 years there is always something more to learn to help others.

This course is definitely a lot of work but it pays off in the end to see the differences in patients, especially children. The parents who have brought their children in since doing this course are super happy & can see I have a lot of certainty & confidence in what I am doing.

This has been such an invaluable learning experience. Thank you!!”

“I decided to take this course to further my knowledge and skills in caring for kiddos both in practice and at home. I wanted to grow my confidence and skill set in pediatric chiropractic care.

I found this program very in-depth and learned a lot of skills and info to add to my pediatric tool kit. Three takeaways were how incredibly important the first couple years of life are especially for development, how to specifically assess and correct cranials, and pain reduction techniques for kiddos using aspects of SOT® cranial and sacral techniques.

How has taking this program impacted your life, personally and professionally:
I feel much more confident in my assessment and care for kiddos both in practice as well as with my own littles at home.
I have used the palate exam and assessment and found a high palate. Using the techniques taught in this course I was able to work on the palate and allow baby and mama to improve their breastfeeding relationship.

I would definitely recommend this course to others as Dr. Rosen is a wealth of knowledge and this is a very in-depth and intensive course. I learned a lot and will definitely review my notes from time to time as there is just so much incredible information.

I really enjoyed this course and as a business owner and mama of 3 littles, I really appreciated that it was virtual. I learned a lot and feel much more confident in my examination and skills when it comes to taking care of kiddos. Dr. Rosen is a wealth of knowledge and it was an honor to have the opportunity to learn from him.

This program was jam packed with so much knowledge and wisdom, I already learned so much and I know each time I reference back to my notes I’ll find even more tidbits and pearls! Thank you for all that you do”

The program is in-depth, thorough and a commitment that is worthwhile.

My practice has benefited greatly, my confidence in treating paeds and being able to “offer something more” to my little patients has been wonderful.

I’ve seen remarkable improvements with plagiocephaly cases, babies meeting milestones that were remarkably delayed, and improvements with breastfeeding outcomes.

Yes, I would recommend this program. To be able to level up with paediatric Chiropractor.

Thank you for sharing a part of your knowledge with us.

    My three takeaways:
    1. Less is more. One of the greatest lessons I learned is that the body doesn’t need us to do more—it needs us to do what is necessary with precision and intention. A gentle, deliberate adjustment, delivered at the right time and in the right place, is often far more powerful than trying to achieve too much.
    2. Rapport and engagement are everything. With children, you may only have a split second to build trust. How you connect with them in that moment can determine the entire encounter. Meet them where they are, respect their experience, and use those precious moments wisely. Connection always precedes correction.
    3. Present-time consciousness is essential. The more present you are, the more you see. Children are constantly communicating through their behaviour, movement, and nervous system. Being fully present allows you to observe, adapt, and respond to what is in front of you rather than what you expected to see. Presence is one of the most valuable clinical skills we can develop. A quote that perfectly summarises my experience of this program is: “Everyone wants better results. Skill precedes results. Practice precedes skill. Attitude precedes practice. It’s the willingness to try—and keep trying—that ultimately leads to ability.” This course reminded me that mastery is not achieved through perfection, but through curiosity, humility, repetition, and the courage to keep showing up. Every child, every adjustment, and every experience becomes another opportunity to learn and grow.

I found this course both challenging and immensely rewarding. Much of the challenge came not from the material itself, but from my own process of learning. Integrating a completely new set of skills and ways of thinking into an already busy clinical practice required patience, persistence, and a willingness to embrace being a beginner again. Working with many children who have complex needs added another layer of challenge. They often require efficient, gentle care that works within their time frame and capacity to engage. Learning new techniques while still providing the highest standard of care meant I had to trust the process, even when I didn’t yet feel fluent. Perhaps the greatest lesson was learning to be kind and patient with myself. I came to appreciate that true mastery cannot be rushed. Time, repetition, and clinical experience were not slowing my progress, they were embedding these vital skills into my neurology and allowing them to become intuitive. Looking back, I can see that what initially felt slow was actually creating a much deeper level of understanding, confidence, and clinical certainty. Learning this intricate and vital work is a lifetime process, and I am willing to commit to this learning.

One case that has had a profound impact on my learning involved a young boy who presented as irritable, constantly unwell, and unable to sleep. He cried almost incessantly and was deeply distrustful of anyone coming near him, which I believed was a reflection of the discomfort he was experiencing. As a result, both assessing and adjusting him were incredibly challenging. The greatest lesson for me was learning where to begin. Rather than trying to address everything at once, I trusted the principles I had been taught and focused first on reducing vertebral subluxation in his upper cervical spine. This became the “window in” to his nervous system. Over time, everything began to change. He became calmer, happier, more engaged with those around him, and the constant crying stopped. As his trust grew, I was able to work more extensively on other areas of his spine and nervous system.

I would wholeheartedly recommend this course to any chiropractor who wants to make a lasting difference in the lives of children. It provides the knowledge, confidence, and clinical skills to assess and adjust vertebral subluxation with certainty, helping each child express their full potential. There is no greater privilege than supporting a child’s nervous system so they have every opportunity to grow, develop, and live an extraordinary life.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Dr. Rosen and Dr. Watson. Thank you for stretching me, incubating me, and now helping to finesse my skills throughout this journey. Your wisdom, generosity, and unwavering commitment to teaching have been truly inspiring, and I am so grateful that you have shared your knowledge with us. I hope that one day I can demonstrate even a fraction of the skill, compassion, and mastery that you both bring to chiropractic and the care of children. The impact you have had on my professional growth, and on the lives of the families I will care for because of what you have taught me, is immeasurable. Thank you for believing in us, challenging us, and inspiring us to become better chiropractors. It has been an absolute privilege to learn from you.

This program has taught me more about the importance of skull anatomy and its relation to neurology than any other course that I have done. We as chiropractors are able to influence the nervous system of young children in such a way that it can impact them for the rest of their lives. We often underestimate the value of early intervention and this program constantly reminded me that the earlier we can intervene, the better the outcome for the patient

I have been taught to be constantly aware of how any condition can have an impact on the nervous system. I am now assessing and treating my patients with the mindset of having a more permanent impact on their bodies, and no longer just treating to alleviate immediate symptoms.

My son has had bruxism for as long as I can remember. I have been treating him consistently since I have learnt techniques for TMJ and bruxism, and although it is still present, it is nowhere near as severe as it was in the past (he is 6 years old).

Yes, I would recommend this program. The in-depth knowledge that you gain about the nervous system and techniques that can be used to impact it positively in a permanent way is invaluable, and it will make you a better chiropractor.

This is a brilliant course, and I am eternally grateful that you have devoted yourselves to teaching SOT to other chiropractors around the world. Thank you.
