Evaluation and Corrections of the Sphenobasilar
How Would You Like to Have the Key to Unlock the Cranium and Make an Impact on the Other 80% of the CNS? Mastering the art of correcting and balancing the sphenobasilar mechanism is the key to creating a consistent, effective, and efficient patient outcome while at the same time growing your practice from the inside.
In this ONLINE program, you will learn the anatomy and physiology of the Sphenobasilar mechanism, what the most common distortion patterns are and how to evaluate and correct interference to the function of the sphenobasilar symphysis. The demonstrations, workshopping and lecture format will give you the ability to implement these protocols Monday morning in your office. You will be able to help more people and become the go-to expert in your community.
The sphenobasilar symphysis is the most mobile joint in the cranium. The sphenoid articulates with all the cranial bones except the nasal and lacrimal, it provides conduits for 9 of the 12 cranial bones and plays a major role in establishing proper cranial facial dynamics.
Besides functional growth and developmental parameters of the cranium, it affects the tension in the dural meningeal system, movement of cerebrospinal fluid and helps lay the foundation for proper neurological development. If you would like to get better more consistent results with your more challenging patients, have a greater effect on the other 80% of the CNS, grow your practice with constant referrals, become the go-to chiropractor in your area and have more fun in practice then this course is for you.

“I have a Master’s in Chiropractic Paediatrics from McTimoney and 27 years of an exclusively paediatric practice. I’m always looking for new ways to expand my knowledge base with clinically appropriate skills. I’ve been utilizing cranial techniques as taught to me by my mentor Dr. Neil Davies and they have been very powerful tools. Dr. Rosen has been on my radar for a long time now. I would love to do in person classes but the setup of this course has been very helpful and provides very easy access to his teachings.
I’ve been using the techniques in practice as I’ve learned them in the course. My practice is focussed on optimizing infant/child health, breastfeeding/milk transfer, ankyloglossia, healing after birth for the neonate, plagiocephaly and digestive difficulties. Cranial evaluation and correction has always played a role in my daily practice and I’ve found them to provide very good outcomes in all clinical circumstances.
The subtle touch of cranial work is somewhat foreign to many DCs. I think many chiropractic schools emphasize the higher force adjustments and the appeal of a more mechanistic approach. In order to provide thorough care to the paediatric population, there must be an understanding of the dural meningeal system, the movement of the cerebral spinal fluid and primary and secondary respiratory motion. Dr. Rosen’s course allows DCs the ability to dive into how gentle cranial corrections can make a massive difference to the neurology of the paediatric patient. Reviewing cranial anatomy, evaluation and correction of the cranial restriction is paramount for doctors hoping to see infants and children in practice.
Thank you for the academic expansion. You’ve added a different skill set to my practice. The setup of the course was great. Loved the transcript option, the notes, the videos and the doctor sharing. Well done.”
