Praise for Introduction to Cranial Evaluation and Adjusting Protocols
Dr. Michael Smallwood
I took this course in hopes to expand my pediatric knowledge and refine my skill set.
I felt this course provided exactly that. Drs. Martin and Nancy are not only brilliant in the field, but
their willingness to help and desire for you to learn is immense. It makes the course so much better. The
material has a significant impact on your practice immediately. It allowed me to help so many more kids in
the office in ways I wasn't able to before. The material is heavy, but it's presented in a digestible way as
well done through Q & As that help guide you.
Personally, I feel more confident as a doctor and have provided my kids with better care.
Professionally, I feel I provide my patients and community a better facility with more tools at my disposal.
Almost immediately after completing the course, my daughter suffered what appeared to be a concussion. Using
specific cranial adjusting methods from this course, I was able to confidently help her in ways I wouldn't
have before.
The program and the material should be a part of the school curriculum. It's so impactful and addresses
subluxation and tension in ways I couldn't without it. Both Doctors are incredibly bright but also very kind
and helpful.
Dr. Susan F. Waletkus, DCTrue life Chiropractic
I highly recommend taking Introduction to Chiropractic Adjusting (CCA). When I saw the opportunity to
have a class online with the Drs. Rosen and Watson, I could hardly wait for it to begin. I have always
been interested in cranial work and who better to learn from then ‘The Masters’. I have attended live
seminars, but I am one who needs repetition and extra time to grasp concepts, so the format of an online
class suited my learning style. On Monday, a concept was addressed in a short video that appeared in our
email. Thursday, we received a second email which was a ‘Call to Action’. This helped to organize the
concepts presented on Monday. I must admit, occasionally Dr. Rosen talks a little faster than I can
comprehend so I could slow the presentation to 75%, and watch several times. There were also several
doctors call/zoom meetings to have questions answered and brainstorm with colleagues. Upon completion of
the course, I am now a member of the Facebook group for questions, interesting cases and continued
learning. Thank you Marty and Nancy.
Dr. Kim Stetzel
After 37 years in practice, I took the Introduction to Chiropractic Cranial Adjusting course this past winter. Having wanted to learn about cranial adjusting for a while, I turned to the experts and was glad that I did. This is a very thorough introduction, which gave me the knowledge, understanding and tools to be able to begin to implement what I learned from the course into my practice. I liked the online format as I could get to the materials at my convenience and also review the notes and watch (and rewatch) the videos until I understood what was being taught. My questions were all answered quickly and completely in the Facebook group. For those familiar with Cranial adjusting, I would imagine this is a good review and will help with the nuances of the technique. For those, like me, who are novices, it’s a great way to start.
Kathy Cantwell, D.C.
This is an amazing program. I love the fact that it is virtual so I can go back and re-watch and take
better notes than I would otherwise be able. Dr. Rosen is such a gift to our profession and I am a
better doctor for taking his program!
Robert R. LaRusso, D.C.
I just completed your online cranial course. Even at this stage of my career I have a strong desire to
learn. Ever since my undergraduate work and learning of a sphenoid bone has intrigued me to no end! The
intricacies of how and what Marty teaches appear to “light” me up inside! Since taking Drs. Rosen and
Watson's courses all my practices have grown beyond beyond! I do not advertise, nor do have any signs
outside all four of the facilities that indicate that I work here! I still find that I have a strong
desire to be more and do more and study more…until God wants me to stop! I LOVE Marty’s tutorials that
are sent to us during the courses…that are great and informative! I do get behind a bit because I do
work a lot…even at this stage of my career! But instead of binge watching TV, I binge watch Marty’s
tutorials! I so appreciate you Marty and of course you Nancy as well…and ALL that you offer our
profession. Thank you from my heart.
Sarah E. Rowley, D.C.
I enjoyed relearning about the importance of CSF fluid and how it moves. It is
helpful to
explain to practice members why having cranial work done is important to their overall
health.
I have noticed more and more of the practice members having cranial problems and how
profound the work can be in their overall health and there is always something you can learn
and be better at.
It was a nice easy pace to keep up with each week and even if you fell behind, you could
easily catch up. That was great for someone that does not have much extra time but wants to
learn. The videos were very helpful for me to learn since I am a visual person. It is
important to have someone help so you can practice on them otherwise it is harder to apply
the information and techniques. Overall, the course was great and I would take another in
the future.
Francine Lajoie, D.C.
It is always a pleasure to take a class with Dr. Rosen. Each time, I
learn
more and feel more confident in my skills in Pediatrics and Cranial Adjusting.
This introduction to Chiropractic Cranial Adjusting is well organised and easy
to follow with plenty of opportunities to ask questions.
Ray Bunch. D.C.
I have completed the Chiropractic Cranial Course with Drs. Rosen and
Watson. It is clear to me that they really want to teach this technique well and have their
students learn it well, use it, and help many others. If you have never done cranial work
before, you will learn why it can be so powerful and also learn a good many cranial
adjustments that you can use in your practice without having to alter your typical patient
visit too much!
Dr. Sharon Dongarra
Recently I had the pleasure of taking Peak Potential Institutes online Introduction to Cranial Adjusting
class. I had previous experience learning from Drs. Rosen & Watson through the ICPA. There was so much
knowledge and experience to be shared it was a little overwhelming. I was a student back then and those
weekend seminars felt a lot like drinking water from a fire hose in addition to all the information my
brain was already processing. I definitely learned the value of cranial adjusting but I wasn’t able to
integrate the technique into my work in clinic and upon graduating I joined an established practice that
didn’t use cranial adjusting in their systems. Fast forward to private practice, I began to notice that
while I often got great results with my practice members sometimes I’d hit a wall. Either people didn’t
get better or they couldn’t hold their adjustment. Cranial adjusting would always come up for me and I
was feeling pretty frustrated at the need to refer these cases to a local CST for resolution. So, I
began to seriously revisit the idea of learning this powerful work when I saw this course. To be honest,
I was a little unsure about how effective taking a technique class online would be. I’m so glad I set
those concerns aside though because let me tell you; unlike those weekend seminars I had a front row
seat. The videos were at once informative but short and to the point making them easy to assimilate.
They were not rushed and were organized in a very effective and easy to understand manner. I replayed
many of them which you can’t do live and I even had the option to slow the speed of the video if I
needed extra time to absorb what was being said. The videos were supplemented with transcripts,
excellent notes, homework to help integrate the skills, multiple opportunities to connect via zoom and
ask questions and an active Facebook community from which I learned a lot by others questions. At the
end of this course I am equipped with several techniques and parameters for when to use them that have
already improved my clinical outcomes. If you are considering taking this course I cannot recommend it
highly enough. It’s well worth the investment in yourself and your practice members. I’m looking forward
to diving deeper into the topic with further modules as time goes on.
I really like the online format. It has the flexibility of working into my schedule instead of the other way
around like most seminars. It also allows me to go at my own pace and take detailed notes which I have
referred back to several times in the office.
Sharon M. Arable, D.C.
I appreciate the notes and the written transcript Doc. The entire system works very efficiently. Well done.
Andrew Alft, D.C.
Stephanie Johnston, D.C.
Dr. Rosen is the SOT master and I love learning from him whenever I can. I got a
fundamental intro to cranial adjusting which I desperately needed. Dr. Rosen's like the Obi Wan of SOT, if
you have an opportunity to learn from him, you must. You will not get this information or knowledge anywhere
else.
Dr. Keri Chiappino
I took this course because I had taken another course before. My favorite part of the
course was that you can go at your own pace. I loved learning about molding. This is an excellent course to
fine tune your skills.
Dr. Camille Dallaire-Dahlager
I was really interested in cranial work and it is not something I had learned in school, so I signed up! I learned a lot. My favorite part was the easy online accessibility that I could fit into my schedule and the relevant homework. The most surprising takeaway was the amount of movement and direction of movement of the cranial bones during inhalation and exhalation. This course is completely worth it. Dr. Rosen and Dr. Watson make it so easy to understand and immediately applicable to your practice. I loved every minute of this class and I believe it has helped me not only help build a healthy foundation for younger patients, but also provided me tools to help the non-pediatric patients.
Olivia Griffith, DC
As a chiropractor focusing on the nervous system, I couldn't leave out 80%. I had seen clinical success with other doctors and wanted to learn more about how I can better help patients. I recommend this course because it is easy to follow along from start to finish and implement the skills the next day. As a doc in my first of practice, this intro cranial course was highly valuable to the success of my clinical practice. Since this is little cranial work addressed in school, it was necessary for me to gain a better understanding of how to analyze and correct patient's cranials. Definitely worth the investment. I look forward to other courses to build on this knowledge. Drs. Rosen and Watson are extremely knowledgeable. What a privilege to learn from such caring souls!
Dr. Lok Yan Joanne Cheng
I took SOT courses previously and was inspired by the connections between the sacrum
and occiput and how it would therefore affect the whole body system. It is worthwhile to add cranial work to
my practice for a better outcome seen in my patients. Though this course is just an intro, I could easily
apply a few hands-on techniques in practice. This broadened my insight when treating musculoskeletal pain.
I would truly recommend this course if you want to differentiate yourself from other practitioners and to
provide your patients with a more holistic care.
Angela Taylor, DC
Take this Intro to Cranial Course before the Cranial Immersion or the Pediatric Class.
If I had taken this first, it would've made the pediatric course easier since some of the concepts were
repeated in both courses. Practice, practice, practice. The more patients I worked with, the easier these
techniques became and the more sensitive my fingers were to the CSF pulses. Trust the technique. Even when I
wasn't sure if I did something right, I would hear great feedback from patients and see changes even if I
was using a new technique that I wasn't 100% comfortable with yet. I finish each adjustment now with some
cranial balancing and patients LOVE it. I know I am offering something no other DC in the area can do. I had
a patient with swollen glands on her left side and severe ear pain and congestion come to me, and by working
on her with these techniques, she had instant relief of her symptoms and her lymph nodes were back to normal
by the next day.
I took this course because I was interested in cranial work and wanted to further my
cranial interest. The best takeaway was the info I can use now in practice. I would recommend this course
because it is a great beginning course in cranial technique.
Dr. Alicia Loaiza
Dr. Emily R. Whisman
I took this course, I saw the need in the children. I started working in a family
practice and there were little ones coming in with helmets. Their heads cake out oddly shaped anyway! So I
thought there was something I could do about this. What I have found is that it is wonderful for funky
shaped heads AND it has been a monumental shift in my effect with patients of all ages and head shapes!
Everyone benefits from this: from adjustments moving more easily, to infant craniums rounding out, to speech
development in non-verbal and limited communication autistic children. to adults maladaptation and
experiencing panic. (with a THREE MONTH intro class) It's truly been a climatic key in the path of my
practicing. The most surprising takeaway is the profound effects of such little input. I would recommend
this course because you are very thorough teachers and clearly care very much about the work you do. This is
an astounding course that has immensely affected the people I serve. Thank you very much for sharing your
gifts!
Melissa McCue, D. C.
My favorite aspect is that we could take our time if needed. I have already started
adding techniques to my practice with great success! One patient that I have been seeing for months finally
started to hold her rotated sacrum adjustments and got pregnant! This course is very organized. Every Monday
you get a video. which is short and to the point. Then every Thursday, you get your call to action to make
sure you understand what you are learning. It makes the program manageable and not overwhelming at all!
Cassi Long, D. C.
I treat a lot of children and a fair amount of them need a lighter input than CMT and
benefit greatly from tonal work. This course refreshed my memory and gave me a lot of practical application
to current issues I have in my office. My favorite aspect was being able to do it from home on my own time.
This course was a great review of the cranium and CSF with a lot of practical application in techniques and
protocols.
Dr. Madison Gilbert
I wanted to refresh my cranial skills. I have taken a course with Dr Rosen in the
ICPA. I loved learning the technique and the different conditions to use the techniques on. It was a great
course; the homework forced me to re-listen. I wish that I had more hands-on practice while watching the
course. I love the Eustachian Tube Cranial adjustment as allergy season has come into practice already. I
would recommend this course because it is a great way to refresh your skills, understand the why behind the
cranial adjusting and have more confidence cranial adjusting in practice. Refresh, learn and gain more
confidence with new cranial adjusting skills. The skills you learn are ones that you can start using in
practice right away.
I took this course as I wanted to further my skills in cranial adjusting so I can better
serve my patients, particularly my pediatric patients. I have taken Dr Rosen’s in person seminars before, and
although those are very helpful as well, there is so much information and being online you are able to pause and
go back and go at your own pace. I have already started using these techniques in my practice and they have been
really impactful. Specifically in the babies that I take care of that I have tried everything else and nothing
has worked. A 4 month old came to my office and her mom described her as a “mad baby”. She cried constantly and
the only time she stopped was when she was feeding. The mom was drained and had gone to every specialist she
could and nothing was working. The first thing I noticed when she came in was her obvious cranial distortions. I
adjusted her and she did not stop crying. I left the room to grab something quick and by the time I was back in
the room, she had stopped crying and looked up and actually smiled at her mom. It was so heartwarming and
amazing to see how powerful that kind of adjustment was! I got so much out of this course. I think the only
thing I struggled with was trying to visualize hand placements and motions over the computer but after going
over everything it became more obvious.
Annie Schmidt, D. C.
Christian Castellano, D.C.
My wife and I had our first child and wanted to provide comprehensive chiropractic
care for her that included cranial adjustments. We were able to care for our child in ways that we weren’t
otherwise able to. My favorite aspect of the course was learning not only generalized cranial adjustments,
but adjustments that are specific for certain conditions as well.
My biggest takeaway was the many ways a person can respond to a cranial adjustment and the cranial antidote
for when they are not accepting the adjustments. I plan to utilize the CRI technique and RTRT to help all
practice members have more balance in the dural meningeal system, better CSF flow and better reception to
adjustments. I will also utilize the skull molding for pediatric practice members and evaluate for
protrusions on newborns/infants when they first come in.
I would recommend this course to others. It is an excellent refresher on anatomy and physiology, explains
when and why to perform cranial corrections and is highly specific in the art of performing them! This
course has given me the confidence and knowledge that I need in cranial adjustments. The cranium and dural
meningeal system are so intimately related to the nervous system and how it functions. I feel as though I am
better equipped for individuals in a more comprehensive way!
Dr. Ross Benz, D.C.
I took this course to obtain the ability to help children in our practice even more.
This program had very in depth, excellent content, a no brainer. I feel more confident in taking care of
that population. I have had countless feeding improvements along with the ability to help several children
already stay out of helmets to thrive. This program was awesome.
Dr. Agathe Vinault
I really enjoyed this introduction course in cranial adjustments.
I decided to take this course because I find it interesting to have many tools in our bag to offer the best
for our patients, and the cranial work is important to consider. And also we see a lot of babies in our
practice, so I needed some basics to increase my knowledge.
With this program, we can take the time to view and review the videos when we want. To progress at our own
rhythm. The calls were really interesting and we could ask as many questions as we wanted.
In my practice, I try now to be more aware of the dural system, of the meningeal system, how they can impact
the results of my adjustments.
I used some technique for patients with TMJ problems or with sinuses issues, or some headaches problems and
it helped me to have faster results.
I wanted to take this class to gain knowledge in order to be able to better treat children
(and adults) in my practice. There was great basic knowledge of cranial anatomy and a great base of cranial
adjustments as well as learning to feel the different pulses and movements in the cranial region. I have more
confidence in treating TMJ problems and helping my pediatric patients. I had an adult patient with a TMJ problem
that was not resolving with my typical treatment. Now I know how to release the sphenoid and frontal bone and
was able to get him to heal. Thank you for a great class! It was all new information to me, so I was overwhelmed
as first. I kept watching the videos over and over and by the end, I felt as though It was really coming
together for me.
Dr. Shary Wagreich
Sarah Evans, D.C.
I took this course to increase my knowledge of cranial work. It will take time and
repetition to comprehend the information. I now feel like I will have a greater impact on your lives. Thank
you.
